So as any of you that know me well are already well aware, I have a serious love for mehndi and usually spend the summer wearing it on my person somewhere. (This year, it was a whole hand and a paisley swallow on my right clavicle, for the curious)
I've put it on dolls before, Tryssy has mehndi hands and I've attacked various others with variations on it over the years, but after watching a TRULY win filled program about the awesomely cool Hindu gods, I found myself with a yen for something a bit...multi-armed and mehndi smothered and LO...A PROJECT WAS BORN!
This little chap is the result of my labours, a four armed, henna drowned beasty in tan ABS (because resin costs more) and I think he worked out rather well!
He's actually a tan Hujoo baby Ted...well...TWO really, since the other one's a bag of parts and he stole it's arms! They're fully articulated and strung just like his normal set and as you can see, he poses pretty damn well all in!
I named him Shakti because it's literal meaning is "to be able"...in other words...I did it, because I'm able to! D'ya see what I did thar?!
