I got this DELICIOUS, strawberry scented fabric from :iconie-ma: for Christmas...it screamed woo...nuff sed! :D

Tryssy is a MNF Shiwoo boy. He digs pink ruffles and I have officially worn this damn pattern out!

He must be over the moon happy! All that lovely pinky goodness!! :D

Okay, and now that I'm talking to you anyway... hope you don't mind, but I've got (yet another) sewing question. ;) I'm trying to make James' Babydoll dress pattern. Copied it down to 75% and all that, now working on the top. How do I do the darts? I've got the outer fabric and then I've got the lining. Do I do the darts on both parts first and then sew lining and outer fabric together? Or sewing first and then darts? Darts separately, with seams facing (if you know what I mean), or is there a way to sew them both together at the same time? Argh, so hard to explain! Do you understand what I mean at all? Things like this always throw me!

ALSO...don't forget to keep trying it on the doll in question, because there's always some tweaking involved when you scale down a pattern :)

I understand you perfectly, that was a great explanation ;) I make up the outer part of a bodice and the inner part of the bodice entirely seperately barring sleeves, and then put them right sides together and join them once you've done all the work. So essentially, darts seperately, with seams facing :D That help?
